What a perfect time to be in Australia! The weather seems beautiful and in Wisconsin we have the continous gray that will never end. At least it feels that way.
I don't know if I would have mocked this accent. I don't know if I have ever heard it. As long as you don't try to pass yourself off as British or a pirate you might be safe : )
